Thank you and well done to all the Hither Green residents who came out on a bitterly cold Saturday morning to plant 1000 English native bluebells on the slopes of Hither Green Station. This is the second stage of a project to plant a permanent wild flower meadow at the station. Look out for professional landscape contractors on the embankment over the next month. The next community event on the embankment will be a mass seed sowing This project is happening in partnership with FUSS at Hither Green, Network Rail and the Grow Wild native planting programme from Kew Gardens.
