Creative Training Opportunities for young People


Are you: 16+, living in Lewisham, interested in working in the creative industries and not currently working or studying?

You might be an aspiring actor, musician, or young creative, but possibly haven’t considered the wide variety of roles within the creative industries. Local theatres provide one to one support, training and paid placements for anyone economically inactive living in Lewisham.


The Albany, Goldsmiths University and Lewisham College’s programme will help you understand opportunities and develop the relevant skills to get your career started.

Or, if you are looking to develop a creative idea into a business, we can help you access resources to realise your business dream.
Inspire Lewisham is a tailored programme, which offers a number of different routes towards better and more creative opportunities for its participants.


What you’ll get:
– Bespoke plan to help develop skills through training, advice and guidance
– Information about the opportunities available within the industry and skills required for success
– Paid work experience
– Guidance from experts working in the industry
– Support in finding places to study, work or even start your own business
