Music and Theatre for All are crowd funding for Lewisham Urban Opera, in
connection with the Lewisham Borough of Culture 2022!
There are some very able and experienced
individuals from the artistic world involved in creating an entirely new opera with the participation of Lewisham people,
especially schools and community centres, based on the life stories of Lewisham residents.
This project is part of Lewisham Borough of Culture 2022, with the opera expected to be performed in central Lewisham in early July 2022. The project is based on a successful programme previously
run by the Royal Opera House in east London.
