NEWS: Update on Manor Park

Dear Friend of Manor Park

Hoping this finds you well. After the long, hot summer it feels like Autumn is upon us.
This is just a quick update email.

General Meeting
Our next General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 12th September at 7pm in the community room next to ArtsCafe. Agenda to follow.

Bat evenings
Two free events running this Friday 31st August and Saturday 1st September. Friday is fully booked but there are still spaces for Saturday. To book, please email Please note this is open to children aged 7+ and adults.

Wednesday 5th September at the Station Hotel Pub 7-8pm.

Next Wednesday evening is the first meeting of our environment working group. Come along if you’re interested in improving the park’s natural environment. We’ll be discussing and prioritising potential projects, including educational events, a wildflower meadow, bird boxes and more (we want your ideas too). We’re also looking for people to get stuck in and help us organise and execute the projects. We’ll put a sign on the table so you can recognise us!
