Lewisham Central Assembly Meeting- Tue 11 October

You are warmly invited to the Lewisham Central Assembly meeting next Tuesday 11th October 2016, from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Lewisham Methodist Church, Albion Way, London SE13 6BT. The meeting will start promptly at 7.00pm with tea and coffee and light refreshment available from approximately 6.30pm.

The Lewisham Central  Assembly is an open community meeting that takes place four times a year. The ward Assembly gives you a chance to raise your concerns with local Councillors and Council Officers, meet other resident who live in the ward and together help to shape the future of the area.

At this meeting, you would hear from a senior officer from the Council Planning Division about future development plans for Lewisham Town Centre, proposals to carry out minor environmental improvements to the areas by the entrance to Lewisham Shopping Centre, latest update from Lewisham Central Neighbourhood police team and presentation and voting of Assembly funds for 2016-17. Groups and organisations seeking assistance from the Assembly fund will present their proposals to you and you will decide how the fund is allocated. This is your chance to have your say on how the money is used. There will also be the usual opportunity for local groups to publicise their activities.


The Assembly provides a good chance to raise other issues that matters to you. So do come along and take part in improving your area.
