Launch of Lewisham LGBT Forum- 11 Oct Free event

This will be the official launch of the new Lewisham LGBT Forum – a place for the community and the local service providers to work together to improve the lives of LGBT+ people in Lewisham.

Date: Tuesday 11.10.2016

Time: 19:00 Up to 22:00

Location: Council Chambers (1st Floor) РCivic Suite Catford Road, London, SE6 4RU

Speakers will celebrate National Coming Out Day, Black History Month, National Hate Crime Awareness Week and World Mental Health Day.

The event will be held in the council chambers and will be followed by light refreshments provided in the foyer area.

The forum is a community led group working together with partnership agencies and organisations in order to expand the knowledge base of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning community in Lewisham about what services and events are available to access and attend.

The aim is to to improve the lives of the LGBT+ community in Lewisham via consultations, cross referring and being an advisory hub that agencies can contact.

The forum is open to the community and LGBT+ identifying residents and workers are welcome to attend and participate.
