Are you an aspiring artist or a designer?
Lewisham Council and the Royal Borough of Greenwich have approved the establishment of a new Lee Neighbourhood Forum, and now they need a logo to promote its work and help make it a distinctive presence in the local area.
The competition
Local residents are being invited to design a logo to use on the new website, posters and the general promotion the work of the Forum. They welcome entries from of any age, residing within the Forum’s boundary area (please see the map).
Perhaps you can depict a distinctive feature of Lee into a logo design, such as the crossroads by the Tiger’s Head pubs, or reflect the Forum’s objective of bringing people together: the choice is yours!
The final decision will be made by the Forum’s committee and announced at the Forum’s first AGM at Halcyon Books, Lee High Road, on 9 May. A prize will be given for the winning logo.
Closing date
All logos must be submitted by email to leeforum@outlook.com by 12 noon UK time on Thursday 5 May with the words ‘logo competition’ in the subject line and the name of the designer(s) in the body of the email.

About the Forum
The purpose of the Forum is to promote and improve the social, economic and environmental well-being of the neighbourhood area, for the benefit of anyone living or working in Lee. The Forum will develop a Neighbourhood Plan which will strengthen our community’s voice in local planning matters, including the ability to design planning policies for our area which will then guide Council decisions about future planning applications. The Forum’s policies carry the same legal weight as those designed by Councils and Central Government.
