New: £700k M-o-L fund for community projects

Join the Spacehive funding platform at City Hall on the 10th of March for the launch of the Mayor of London’s £700K co-funding initiative. Through Spacehive the Catford community have funded ‘Good Food Catford‘  a great new healthy eating cafe on  Sandhurst Rod shopping parade, between the dry cleaners and Ladbrokes. )

Now with the launch of the third round of the Mayor’s Civic Crowdfunding initiative there is another £700,000 available for distinctive, innovative and awesome ideas that will improve local communities.

If you’re a local group with an idea to make your area more attractive and boost the local economy, then come along to find out how you could receive a pledge from the Mayor of up to £20,000 to support your crowdfunding campaign on Spacehive.

For businesses, it’s an opportunity to discover how you can use this initiative to back projects that matter to you whilst making the city better for everyone.

You’ll be joining a growing number of organisations – including BT, Barclays, GLL, Hyde and Keatons – embracing civic crowdfunding by co-funding projects, or offering their skills or in-kind contributions.
