The Manor Park Crowdfunding Campaign

Hello from The ArtsCafe!

There are currently 2 Manor Park community projects up on SpaceHive, the crowd funding platform.
The Cafe team are asking local residents to help them raise funds to improve facilities at the Park.
Make A Pledge:

Our aim is to get as many people in our community to get together in a simple act of friendship and fun with a Big Tidy Up to share our love and care for where we live.

And we firmly believe that the litter problem simply won’t get solved unless, like you, we all get involved and play our part. We believe this social engagement will encourage others as well.

Thames 21 will also be joining us on the same day to clean our beautiful river ‘Quaggy’.

We need total of £237 in order to get all the kits we need for this project. ( Hard gloves, first aid kits, litter bags etc. ) Please note that litter pickers will be supported by Glendale and Enviro Lewisham.

At the end of our cleaning session ArtsCafe will also offer tea/coffee and cake, biscuits to our volunteers. We then be able to sit and be proud of our act collectively.

Did you know you can build your own greenhouse,by using inexpensive, or better yet, recycled materials? our willing helpers and hundreds of plastic bottles, there’s a much cheaper alternative: the plastic bottle greenhouse.

Our aim is to set-up a green house for our community to grow their own vegetables, or experiment with seeds. Also, by involving our local brownies ( 1stLeeSouthBrownies + 25th Lewisham North Cubs + Catford 6th Brownies )

We will be sharing the information and making it happen collectively. Currently we are gathering recycled plastic bottles at ArtsCafe but we need more, just give us a shout to meet up.

We need total of £364 in order to get all the other materials ( please see the link to view details ) for this project happening. If we have any money left over we are planning to get seeds. And of course we will have a tea&cake session at the end of the day!

You are most welcome to join us for these special events!
Please call us on 07411134219 if you like to talk about any information above.
The 7 biggest pledges are displayed prominently on project pages so can be seen by everyone, including journalists.
