Brockley Max starts tomorrow down by Brockley station and I hope you can all make it down there for a couple of hours. London Live will be filming between 5 and 7pm and the Mayor will be there at about 6pm.  As well as the amazing line up of bands, the Bob Marley mural will be started by Dale Grimshaw.

Call out to everyone who’s taken photos at Brockley Max over the years.

Look Back and Interact

Going to Brockley Max events and want to take part in a collective, digital and interactive photography exhibition to record the festival history in images? Here’s how…

Brockley Max is staging an interactive exhibition of images taken Brockley Max events over the years. We’ve called it Look Back and Interact. We’d love you to submit your photos taken at events you are attending this year. It’s really simple – when you’re at an event, just take a couple of pix on your phone or camera and send them to us in the way that is easiest for you. Check out the link for more info.

Brockleywood Nights is back and this year we’ll be enjoying a night of film and music under the stars! Join us by the Stone Circle in Hilly Fields from 8 pm for some tunes by good times DJ Polar Bears Can Dance and beers from Brockley Brewery. The programme of local short films will begin once it’s dark enough (around 9 pm) and you can enjoy a premiere of a dance film part-shot on location in Hilly Fields; animation with narration by Oscar winning actor Samantha Morton; art installation on the big screen and film festival award winners made by some talented filmmakers who live in the area. All this plus a DJ set with live projected illustration by Nikolai Kozin, as we team up with the Street Art side to the festival.
