Help London have launched their online directory service to help support small, local businesses across London that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic but are still operating under the new government guidelines that came into effect in March. The directory lists local and independent businesses around London that are still able to offer their products and services online or with new social distancing measures.
The directory has proved to be a success already and viewed by tens of thousands of locals trying to find out how they can continue to purchase from their local businesses. Described as “an amazing resource” and “very useful” by users and traders alike.
The directory already boasts over 600 local listings where the easy to navigate interface allows users to find out how to order from local businesses where many have closed their physical shop, and to search them by either location or business category.
Founder, Thomas Page has said ”Jobs and livelihoods are on the line. A lot of small businesses won’t survive this pandemic, so we must do all we can to help them. With some businesses being able to continue to operate albeit in a limited capacity, when your takeaway arrives, or online shopping, it does bring a tiny bit of normality back into our lives during these difficult times.”
