Monday 5 November marks 51 years since the rail crash at Hither Green Station which killed 49 people and injured over 70.
Last year, we worked with fellow community groups plus Southwark Diocese, local clergy and Lewisham Council to arrange two services to mark the anniversary and many of the survivors and the families of those who died who were in attendance.

This Monday at the Train Station there will be a small service at 11am to unveil a new plaque bearing the names of those who died. Everyone is welcome to attend. Meet in the area between platforms 4 and 5.

Thank you to Rev Bridget of The Good Shepherd and all the local people who have been involved in planning the plaque unveiling and once again our heartfelt thanks to local designer Jeni Anderson for her work.
