Springbank Road Garden: Saturday 9 September
Time: 11- 1 (ish!)
Location Springbank Road , Hither Green SE13 6SS

Josie is assembling troops to cut back and propagate in the garden ready for next May’s 10th anniversary s plant swap!
And also to do battle with the brambles coming through the fence along the road!

“There are a few “green” tasks to be done round Hither Green and we need some help with them:

*Community Garden – Some tidying up and cutting back. The garden is looking really good at the moment so there wouldn’t be that much for us to do if there were a few of us taking it on. Many hands always make light work!

*Springbank Rd. Embankment – We need to collect the rubbish that has been thrown over the fences during the summer and trim back the brambles which have fruited and are coming through the fence on to the pavement. The same goes here, the more we are, the sooner we can get it done.

We would appreciate this help on Saturday, 9th. September between 11am. and 1pm. We will meet at the Springbank Road Station steps.
We will ask you to wear strong shoes or boots and we have the tools, gloves and jackets. We also have boots so if you need to wear them, please use thick socks.

Please let us know if you can make it and your support would be appreciated very much.
