The CRA are supporting The Ella Roberta Foundation which is a registered charity set up by Rossy Roberta in the memory of Ella, her daughter who sadly passed away age 8 after suffering an asthma attack. The foundation’s aim is to raise awareness of and provide education on asthma in Lewisham. The event will raise funds for the foundation and will also form part of the Hither Green Festival (http://ourhithergreen.com). It would be fantastic if as many people as possible could attend and support this worthy cause (see the attached flyer). For more information contact Info@ellaroberta.org

CROWD FUNDING PROJECTS  The CRA are supporting the following two local projects and would urge people to help support them.

1) An exciting and special afternoon tea for 200 elderly Lewisham residents, for them to meet old friends and reminisce, as well as meet new friends and enjoy a leisurely afternoon. See https://www.spacehive.com/tea for more details. £5,332 of the £6,789 has been pledged so far, and there are 20 days left to reach the target.

2) Catford South Kids Lantern Parade. A hundred plus children with mums and dads, friends and neighbours, walking to the beat of live drums and music and holding their handmade lanterns in celebration of the season and our life together as a diverse community. See   https://www.spacehive.com/catford-south-kids-lantern-parade for more information. £6,966 of the £10,721 has been pledged with 15 days remaining. There are few local opportunities for children to come together across the usual boundaries of schoolyard, church group or family social gathering. This is a chance for kids to work together on something bigger than themselves, to make something that is a part of a bigger whole, which they can then share with their family and neighbours. Kind regards,
