New documents were published regarding St Modwen’s Leegate plans on 8th April. Deadline for you to tell Lewisham what you think is 4th May.
The plans remain unchanged. You can resend a previous submission or send a new submission to firstname.lastname@example.org giving your name and address and quoting DC/14/090032
The assumption of planners and councillors on the planning committee must be that local people are happy with the plans unless they write to the council saying otherwise.

Here is a summary of them: Covered Arcade
Images of arcades elsewhere are offered as examples of what might be offered in Leegate. They look unlike anything St Modwen has built elsewhere. They also omit the double travelator to the car park which will occupy 1/3 of the width of the arcade, the trolley park and Asda’s large entrance.
Ultimately the arcade is not designed in detail, leaving its final look to speculation.
The documents offer examples of public spaces near busy roads.

The new documentation does not include accurate, up to date future predicted traffic calculations including the effects of the current Tiger’s Head junction improvements. It is therefore not possible to assess the effect on traffic saturation of these Leegate plans. It is normal for accurate traffic figures to be assessed before and application is decided.
