A timely reminder from the Corbett Residents Association toplease watch out for your elderly or more vulnerable neighbours in this hot weather.
Mrs Julia Burke has been in touch to suggest that we each take a minute to check people are doing ok and are keeping hydrated. Perhaps offer to any shopping so they don’t have to go out in the heat?
- Heat can be harmful to your health, especially if you have heart, respiratory or serious health problems.
- Avoid going out in the hottest part of the day (11.00am and 3.00pm). If you must go out, stay in the shade. Wear a hat and light, loose fitting clothes, preferably cotton. If you will be outside for some time, take plenty of water with you.

Home Security: It’s tempting to leave window open, but don’t forget to close them in the evenings, even at the back of the house. Don’t make you or your property vulnerable by leaving doors and windows open or unlocked.
